Creature Handling
The Creature Handling skill lets you raise baby animals up into their grown up forms. This could be from a baby state or from an egg.
Sometimes an animal will grow into something different based on the feed you give it during its childhood. NOTE: The order in which you feed it makes no difference to what it grows into, only WHAT you feed it and HOW MANY of that item you feed it.
The Creature Handling skill also determines which animals will allow you to use them as mounts to travel around on.
To start Creature Handling, you will need to first obtain a house, either by constructing one or buying one. Then you can purchase land for an animal pen. The animal pen starts off with 10 slots, which means you can have up to 10 baby animals growing in it at once. You will need to feed the baby several times before it is ready to grow up (different babies have different feeding times and will accept different foods). Once you have fed the animal enough, it will be ready to be removed from the pen and it will turn into its grown up form. (You can find baby animals sometimes whilst exploring, or you can buy them from an animal breeder, such as the one in Salra)
NOTE: Make sure you remember to feed your baby animals, as if you leave them without food for too long they will starve!
